Doctor Scorpion

In the first half of the twentieth century few men were as feared as Doctor Da Liu, better known by his nom de guerre Doctor Scorpion.  He was a scientist of remarkable ability, a first-rate tactical mind, and legendary martial arts master. He was known as master of The Scorpion Guild, one of the chief scientific members of The Nightshade Society, and for tangling with many of the great heroes of the day such as Mirage, The Aviator, and Doc Armstrong.

A central villain in Mutants and Masterminds Golden Age games. Though I tend to treat them more like either pulp fiction or film serials.
