The Crown of Kahl

And so it fell upon Vrom of the Iron Tribes to dispute the claim of empire in the north from his cousin Ker, but to do so he had to prove his own claim was greater. He was told of the Crown in the mountain, supposedly worn once upon the brow of the sky-god Kahl. To retrieve the crown however Vrom would have to get past its guardian, the hound of Kahl, the dragon Blackjaw. With great cunning and great strength the fighter Vrom slew the beast who's breath was as a furnace and who's blood was as molten steel and took up the golden helm. Having the crown bought the loyalty of the faithful men of the north but the godless armies of Ker would require more convincing.
